HaRLey IsLaND tOUr

A few weekends ago we did an Island Tour with our friends...we rode in 3 cars all around the island stopping at some pretty amazing beach spots that nobody knows about (or only few people know about). It was great to get out and see the rest of this beautiful island we call home. I took some video so i'm hoping to have a little video together that i'll put up soon. When you visit i'll take you on the tour also :)

As you know I do photography on the side sometimes. In the Bahamas I did a lot of it but here starting out is kind of slow. I got the opportunity to photography the Harley Ride. Every few years a cruise line allows so many motorcycles on the cruise boat and wherever the boat stops the riders have a full island tour. So 26 Harley's from the cruise and about 10 local riders all joined up to take an Island Tour by bike!! That was pretty cool hearing and seeing all the bikes in one loooooong big line.

I've said before but i'll say it again...we have a fantastic group of friends here. Just a few weeks ago we all found out one of them was diagnosed with a malignant melanoma on the head. It was quite a scary time as it was a complete shock and the family has 2 small kids. After surgery, ct-scans, bloodwork, more surgery and a skin graft, it's a great feeling to say all the prayers and positivity from everyone has paid off!! The blood work and scans all came back clear and the surgeon got all of the melanoma in one surgery. We have a lot to be thankful for these days and our health is one of them so be active and try to stay healthy because that's the best way to fight anything. So so so glad our friend is doing great! Praying for a constant recovery and for it not to return.
